Well, I played 2 games of hangman last night, just before I went to bed, and hung myself on both of them. I've never been a game player, and I don't think I'll ever get addicted to them, but since playing a few games on the uk audio network sight, I've started playing a few of them over there. They have some interesting sound effects. But I'm not really good at those either, because I'm not good at quizes. I'm not knowledgeable enough on any subject to bee good at them, but in theory, the object of them is simple, even If I can't answer most of the questions, but they do have multiple choice questions, and if you answer any wrong, you get sent back to the start of the game, so if you keep making different choices, you can't help but get the right answer sooner or later.

I think one reason hangman is so hard for me, is you are told a word has 8 letters, I always got the 8 letter ones, but you aren't given a clue, not even the first letter, and the only thing I know to do is to start at the beginning of the alphabet, and go down letter by letter, but that gets me nowhere, since you only have 6 guesses, and I have no idea how to choose the first letter. That's probably why I can't do it. I hope blingo, keeno, and anagram mania are a bit easier. If not, think I'll try high low before I give up on the games. I've never been in to space adventures either. It just may be, that I don't have the talent for games.
Start with the vowels. Then when one or 2 of them falls into place, go for the Wheel of Fortune consonants, rstln, etc.
well, that last bit was a bit over my head, but at least most of them have an a in them. What does it mean when there are stars in between some of the letters? I just don't know how to play it, other than starting at the begginning, but with my luck, none of the voels will be right, and I'll just keep hanging myself, lol. "Good thing for me, that I don't actually get a rope around my neck, haha.
Anyway, I will try again with the voels, starting with e, since that's the way vowels are arranged, a e i o u. I can only get better, at least I can't get any worse.

I get it now, silly silly me. I thought rstln was an anacronsm for something else, haha. Well I'll try it.
wonderwoman
I can never ever ever ever ever win at hangman! never ever! lol
The stars? Those are the blanks.
I do fairly well. I go for the wheel of fortune concept. R S T L N E then when a few letters show then I'm ok. But I personally prefer the longer words because chances are I might do better.
Lol Hangman and Annagrams are about the only games I can play decently lol. And hangman I don't even get a lot.
Yeah, I gave up on hangman awhile ago. I'll stick to blingo thanks. LOL
well, now I've decided maybe i'm better at hangman than I am at blingo. I thought of every 5 letter word I could think of, and I still didn't get it. Next I'll try keeno, and If I can't do that, I'll try some more with hangman, and go for the high low game, where it's all a matter of chance. Don't know if I'll try black jack or not, I've heard of it, but all I know from the description of it on the main page is it's a game of 21. A lot of those card games are a bit difficult I think, because you have to remember which is the loest, like a jack, ace, etc. I think it might be hard for me to remember which is highest or lowest. For example, ace, jack, diamond, and so forth. I think a king is the highest though.

The only way to get any progress with hangman is to guess r s t l n e...As much as i hate Wheel of Fortune, they seriously are the most common letters. Also add c to that list, i've found c in a lot of words as well.
Yeah I agree. It's all a matter of that strategy and using the vowels. Wonderwoman, Blackjack is pretty easy, although I shouldn't talk, since I lost a load of points because I betted a lot! Lol! But it's very simple. There are instructions on the page. You might give it a try, just to see what you think.
Caitlin
I start with the vowels myself and that works for me most of the time.
Troy
Hi Niblit 17, Thanks for the tip, I guess it would be better if I changed strategy a bit here and there, most words seem to have tlrns, or one of the other. Thanks Caitlin, I'll try black jack sometime. I went in to high-low, but something about it scared me off, so I backed out and didn't try it. Perhaps I'll try it sometime, for something new and different. Thanks to the both of you.

well blingo for me is quite similar. You have to twist your brain to guess the word although sometimes you don't get the word, for a silly spelling mistake and lacking of learning english! well at least it happens to me ha ha ha
Well, I checked blingo out once, and didn't get it, for some reason, for me at least, it's harder than hangman. I never got the letters in the right place. I got the letters, but I couldn't get them in the right place. At least with hangman, if you get enough letters formed, you can see the word take shape, and the more letters you get right, the easier it is to get the word. Blingo and keeno are 2 games I just don't have a chance with
wonderwoman.
I can do blingo, but I need more time and more chances.
Caitlin
well, I don't think I could do blingo, even if i were given several hours, lol, that game is really hard.
wonderwoman
It is quite a challenge, really gets your brain pulsing and struggling! Lol!
Caitlin
sure does, so many words and letters to choose from. I won 2 games of hangman last night. I lost 2 or 3, and someone guessed the words in so many seconds, but they stopped playing and I kept going, and I guessed 2 words, and I was the only one that guessed them.
wonderwoman
I love it when I win Hangman. Lol! I love the sounds, too, lol.
Caitlin
P.S. It'd be cool if it said stuff like, "Oh no, anotehr arm!" and stuff, while you were playing Hangman.
I like Hangman and Anagram Mania. Hangman is my favorite though. I also use the stratigy mentioned, r s t l n and a e i o u
The Ice Master
The chances you get in Blingo are the same as on the TV show. Though the show is still a bit harder in that you get only about 10 seconds to make each guess and you automatically lose your turn if you guess a word that doesn't exist.
What TV show? ... Sorry ...
Caitlin
Blingo is based on a tv show called Lingo. The rules are basically the same. You have to guess a five letter word in five attempts or less. You can see Lingo on Gameshow Network, or rather GSN the network for games. At least I assume they still air it. I lost access to that channel last April, and at that time they were pulling a lot of their traditional game shows in favour of blackjack tournaments and reruns of reality shows.
I guess I never really heard of lingo, because I never cared about watching game shows on tv. I think the only way a tv game show would interest me, would be if it was someone I knew on there, and they were winning a lot of money.

The only game show I watched is Who Wants to Be A Millionaire. Oh and The Weakeest Link. Both of those are gone now, sadly.
Caitlin
I watched who wants to be a millionaire a couple of times, but never saw anyone win the whole million dollars, and just lost interest in it.
wonderwoman
I think I saw someone win a million once. But maybe not. Actually, I'm not sure I did. But I liked the show, even though I hardly ever knew the answers. Sometimes, I would, and it made me feel ... um ... smart. Or something. Lol. But it's really ver yeducational.
Caitlin
I LOVE HANGMAN!!!!! It is awsome!!!! i am glad it is on here!!!!!!
Yes, it's pretty interesting once you get in to it.
wonderwoman
Hangman is a fun game, once you get into it, yeah. Lol. We play French Hangman in French sometimes. if you thought English hangman was hard, try doing it in a language you don't fully know hehehe. Caitlin
I think that would be too much for my brain to handle, lol. I took French in high school, but that was years ago, and I've forgoten all of it, except maybe 2 or 3 words here and there.
